Recent work

Real clients, real launches. Every project below is live, so you can open it right now.

Lower Echelon storefront homepage: a model in a green Lower Echelon track jacket in front of a housing tower

Lower Echelon Worldwide, NYC streetwear brand

A custom online store that replaced an aging WooCommerce site

The brand had outgrown a stock WordPress theme. I rebuilt it as a fast, motion-heavy storefront the owner runs himself, staged so the live shop was never at risk during the move.

  • Owner-only admin panel to edit products, prices, per-size stock, and view orders, backed by a live Postgres database.
  • Solved a hosting blocker: Prisma's query engine can't run on Cloudflare Workers, so I kept Prisma for the schema and switched runtime queries to Kysely over Neon's HTTP driver. Verified in the real Workers runtime, not just locally.
  • Launched on the brand's own domain on Cloudflare at about 1.2 MB, with every DNS and email record copied over before the switch.
“Great work! My site was a bit outdated and approaching my 5 yr anniversary, I wanted to revamp it and I’ll say perfect execution! My new and improved website is so nice and sleek while still keeping that grit energy that my brand wanted to portray!”

A nonprofit site rebuilt and moved off a locked-in host

The old site was built with a page builder and tied to its hosting company. I rebuilt it by hand, then moved the domain and hosting so the organization owns everything outright.

  • New homepage, team page, and 11 program pages written around the neighborhood's story, with the org's real logo and photos.
  • Zero-downtime move: built on a temporary address while the old site stayed up, got sign-off, lowered DNS cache times, then switched and verified SSL.
  • Domain moved to Cloudflare Registrar so renewals are at cost and nobody else holds the keys.

R.I.C.H. Fest, three-day community festival

A festival site and ticketing, moved off Wix

The organizer needed one place to show the schedule and sell tickets for three different events, on hosting the festival controls instead of a Wix plan.

  • Designed and built a one-page site around the festival's four pillars, with the founder's story and real event photos.
  • Ticketing for three events: two free Eventbrite registrations and a paid Stripe checkout for the finale.
  • Moved the domain off Wix to Netlify with the DNS cutover handled end to end.

AI intake assistant answering a bakery owner who asked about a slow Wix site and a Gmail address, and asking a follow-up question about their site
Mac Support Plus, my tech services business

An AI assistant that turns website visitors into leads

Small-business owners often don't know whether they need a fix, a rebuild, or new email. This assistant talks it through with them in plain language, then hands me a clean summary so I can follow up.

  • Plain-language intake: answers questions about each service, asks about the visitor's business, current setup, and timeline, and recommends the right fit.
  • Doesn't overpromise: no prices or timelines from the bot. It tells visitors a real quote comes after a call.
  • Clean handoff: collects the visitor's name, email, and a short project summary, and checks the details with them before wrapping up.

Draft board ranking the best available players by value over replacement, each with a Draft button
Personal project, data and analytics

A draft tool that ranks players by value, not raw points

A live draft assistant built for my own 14-team league. It merges three public data sources, projects each player's season, and re-ranks the board after every pick.

  • Data pipeline in TypeScript pulling from Sleeper, FantasyPros, and nflverse, matching players across sources and rebuilt on a schedule by GitHub Actions.
  • Value-based drafting: injury-adjusted, recency-weighted projections compared against a replacement-level player at each position.
  • No server to pay for: an Angular front end reads static JSON and keeps the draft state in the browser.

NFL game card showing the model's win probability, the market's implied probability, expected value, and a recommended stake
Personal project, sports analytics

A probability model that sizes every pick by its edge

Each week it pulls the upcoming NFL and college football games with live odds, runs them through my own model, and shows only the games where the model's probability beats the market's, with a stake sized to the bankroll.

  • Probability model: Elo ratings plus team-stat features like yards, turnover margin, and offensive efficiency, compared against the market's implied probability with the bookmaker's margin included.
  • Kelly-criterion sizing turns each edge into a recommended stake, and a tracker logs results and closing-line value over time.
  • Guardrails against overconfidence: when the model disagrees with the market by too much, the pick is flagged as a model limitation instead of being recommended.

Portfolio build, small-business software

An invoicing app your team signs into with Microsoft

A working invoicing tool for small businesses. Anyone can sign in with a Microsoft account, work or personal, and gets a private sandbox business with fictional clients to try it out.

  • Microsoft sign-in done properly: Entra ID with MSAL and PKCE, asking only to read the user's basic profile. Sign-in tokens are encrypted before they're stored.
  • Invoice numbers that can't collide: a load test fires 300 invoices at once and gets 300 unique numbers with no gaps, while the common shortcut fails with duplicates.
  • Each business sees only its own data: every query is scoped to the signed-in business, never to an id from a form or URL.

On AI: I build generative AI features professionally in my day job, on enterprise products where accuracy is not optional. I'll tell you plainly when AI is the right tool for your problem and when a simpler fix will do.

How a project runs

The same procedure every time, borrowed from how the Navy runs a reactor plant: plan it, check it, then execute.

  1. Short call

Twenty minutes on what you need, what you have now, and your deadline.

  2. Fixed quote

A written scope and price within two business days. You approve it before I start.

  3. Build on a preview link

Your current site stays live. You review the new one at a private address as it comes together.

  4. Checked launch

DNS, email, SSL, and forms verified against a checklist before and after the switch.

  5. Hand-off or care

You get the logins and a short guide, or I keep it updated for you every month.

About me

I'm Jason. I started my career as a nuclear propulsion operator in the U.S. Navy, where nothing gets touched without a procedure and a second set of eyes.

Today I'm a software engineer at a global legal and data analytics company, building web applications and generative AI features in Angular, C#, and AWS. On the side I run MacPlusSupport, building and rescuing websites, stores, and business email for small organizations.

Clients hire me because they get enterprise habits at small-business scale: plain-English updates, honest timelines, and launches that don't break the things that already work.
